Manuscript Paper

My father-in-law left a manuscript for me to publish for him, posthumously.

It was more than 500 un-paginated pages, all type written, without a carbon copy. He did not leave any funds with which to publish this tome.

In addition, at some time prior to the manuscript falling into my hands, it had fallen and become completely out of order. Some pages faced each other. Others were toe to head. Without page numbers it was a five hundred page puzzle.

Certainly, it would have been possible for a diligent person to untangle the mess.

I put each sheet into my papermaking machine and now I don’t have to sort the pages any more. Instead, I have manuscript paper.
